//////Azami’s Point of View //////
The guy cringes when he gets on his knees as he takes hold of his groin.

“I’ve had enough of you and your goons! I have had it! You hear me!” I yelled at him.

He clenches his teeth, “Y-Your gonna pay for this!”

His remarked angered me even more. I kneeled in front of him and pulled on his collar of his shirt, “Pay for what?! For defending myself?! Did you really expect me NOT to defend myself?”

Ryuu looked a little shocked that I was becoming more intact with my courage would-be-self. The boys couldn’t see, but Ryuu did. My eyes turned into frightening red dragon eyes. All the boy could see was a frightening glare. He couldn’t imagine that such a quiet girl like me could hold such a frightful expression.

“Listen because I am only going to say this once,” I glared at him, “Leave me and Haroki alone from now on or else.”

“Or else what?” He says with a small smirk on his face. I mischievously chuckled which freaked him out.

“I promise you that kicking your precious groin won’t be the only thing that I would do to you,” I tighten my grip on his shirt, “Trust me I won’t hold myself back nor will I stop Hiroki from killing you if you even lay a finger on me like I have always done before.”

His eyes widen in fear. There was no denial that Hiroki will kill him because I have always stopped Hiroki from beating the crap out of him.

I let go of his shirt, which causes the guy to fall down on his ass. I turned to look at his pals, “This applies to all of you as well.” I fixed my bag strap as they all crunch in fear.

They all made a clear path as I walk to my destination. Before I make my way to school, without turning around, “If you really want revenge against Hiroki, I suggest that you do it on the Kendo companions. Trying to make Hiroki miserable by attacking me is ridiculous. Have some dignity for petes sake.”

“I can’t…He’ll just beat me again.” He says in a low monotone voice. “I’ll never beat him…He is too good.” He began to doubt himself which slowly cause his eyes to turn hallow and his chest to glow a dark shade of purple.

“Azami look!” Ryuu yells at me to turn around. When I do, the guy is simply standing with hollow eyes and dark egg floating in front of him.

“What in the world is that Ryuu?!” There was a jet black colored egg with a huge white ‘X’ embedded on it.

“I am not sure what that is, Azami.” Ryuu announces.

I could hear an eco-voice coming from the egg repeating ‘I’m useless, I’ll never beat him’.

I hear are those words repeating with no end until dark purple energy arise all around the dark egg. The dark energy spurs out and knocks out all his buddies unconscious.

My eye are shaken at the sight as one by one of his fellow companions fall to the ground. I get the feeling that what I was seeing was bad and I should run away, but I couldn’t. My feet were frozen to the ground. Not out of fear, but something else that I cannot pin point what. Something was telling me to do something but what?!

All of the sudden the dark purple energy shoot straight at me. Ryuu screams her lungs out, “Azami!!!!!!!!”

*Oh no!* I quickly closed my eyes to help me bare the pain from the sudden upcoming attack.

*Huh? Wasn’t the attack about to hit me?* I ponder to myself before I slowly open my eyes. My mouth was hung open due to being surprised to see myself being in Kukai’s arms. He apparently shoved me out of the way.

“Are you ok Azami?!” Kukai asks me with concerned filled in his beautiful hazel eyes.

I couldn’t help but blush. I mean for crying out loud! I am in Kukai’s arms and his face is close to mine! How could I not blush?! I couldn’t speak because I still feel quite shock, so I simply nodded.

He sighed in relief and smiled at me, “I’m glad.”

“I’m useless!...I’ll never beat him!” echoes the voice.

“Azami! Get behind me!” Kukai shoves me behind him.

“Wha? Kukai, what exactly is going on? What is that?” I pleaded him not knowing anything of what’s going on. I hate not knowing things, especially the events that are currently happening don’t you?

“It’s an X egg.” Kukai answers

“An X egg? What?” I looked at him confused.

“What? Hasn’t Hiroki told you yet?” Kukai looked astonished.

“Huh? Told me what?” I was super confused what is an X Egg and what exactly was Hiroki supposed to tell me?

“I’m useless!” Echoes the voice again before sending another dark energy attack.

“Agh! I’ll explain it to you later, Azami! Daichi! Character Change!” Kukai calls out a green haired guardian character.

*What? Kukai has a guardian character?!* I looked at Kukai with disbelief as a star shaped clip appeared on his hair. Since when has Kukai had a guardian character?!

//////Kukai’s Point of View //////
Kukai quickly takes Azami in his arms (bridal style) and he swiftly dodged the sudden attack. *Tsk* He engages himself to evade another attack, *Dammit! This guy is persistent.*

He felt Azami tighten her grip against his shirt, “Kukai! Look out!”

He clenches his teeth as various attacks were advancing towards his direction, “Hold on tightly, Azami.”

Before Kukai arose to avoid the attacks, Azami wrapped her arms around his neck and hid her face upon the crook of his neck. While avoiding getting hit, *I can’t keep doing this. I need to do be able to be in my character transformation in order to get out of this situation…but I can’t without Amu’s humpty lock…I guess I have no choice*

Kukai speaks to Azami while avoiding the attacks of the X egg, “Azami you gotta do character transformation for me.”

//////Azami’s Point of View //////

“What?!” I yelped hearing him ask me to do a character transformation. *How does he know that I can do a character transformation?*

“Try to use your character transformation with Ryuu, Azami. It’s the only way for us to get rid of that egg.”

“B-But how do you know about my character transformation, Kukai?!”

“I’ll tell you that later once we get rid of that thing as soon as possible. So please Azami, if you remember how to do the character transformation, now is a good time.”

I know he is getting tired running around avoiding the X egg’s attack from his heavy breathing is steady increasing. I wish I knew how I did the character transformation like last time, but sadly I am not sure how I did it.

“Agh!” Kukai yelled due to rapid stike against his back. This caused his character change with Daichi to fade and made him fall to his knees.

“Kukai!” Daichi and I screamed in a union.

“I’m fine, are you ok?” He has his left eye squinted closed. I know he is baring the pain within himself because he doesn’t want me to worry. After the strike, he still held me in his arms. He did that in order to prevent me from getting injured.

“…Kukai…” My eye shaken.

“It usless! He’ll just beat me!” echoed the X egg while throwing another strike at us.

//////Kukai’s Point of View //////

*Shit! My legs won’t move!* Kukai yells to himself in his thoughts.

“NO! Please God! I don’t want Kukai to get hurt!” Kukai hears Azami scream within his arms. Kukai eyes widen as he sees Azami’s necklace glow.

A ring of fire surrounded Kukai and Azami. The dark energy attack collided with the fire. The X egg gets upset and attacks again, yet sadly fails. The attack couldn’t penetrate the ring of fire.

Kukai was speechless as he sees Azami in her dragon character transformation. He still had her in his arms. She had her eyes closed, “Azami open your eyes.”

//////Azami’s Point of View //////

I slowly open my eyes to see Kukai smiling down at me, “You did it, Azami!”

*Huh?* I quickly took notice that I transformed with Ryuu.

“Teehee of course she did silly.” I hear Ryuu within me.

I feel myself blush. I was embarrassed to have Kukai see me in this. I am still not used to this transformation, especially how I looked in it. “Are you hurt, Kukai?”

He shook his head, “Thanks to you. I am ok, Azami.”

I smiled, *I am glad he isn’t hurt…but how did I do it?* I looked up at the sky until I hear a voice yelled out at a distance.

“Heart Unlock!”

Both Kukai and I glanced to see a pink haired girl in a pink cheerleader outfit.

Kukai yelled happily, “Nice timing Amu!”

*What?!* I was stunned to have realize exactly the name Kukai just mention, “Amu?”

What in the world is going on?!
